A senior gas and energy executive with 25 years of expertise in trading, optimization, risk management, commodity market analysis, and market design.
I began my career in Natural Gas Trading with Enron Europe Ltd in London in 2000. Thereafter, I worked in several gas trading roles for Sempra Energy Europe in London and Statkraft Markets GmbH in Germany. In 2007, I joined EON Ruhrgas based in Essen, which later evolved in EON Energy Trading and eventually became Uniper Global Commodities in 2016. During my tenure at Uniper, I was appointed Lead Trader Gas Forward and Options. In this role, I was managing one of the largest gas trading desks in Europe.
In 2018, I moved to Singapore as Head of Business Development Helium and Gas - Asia Pacific for Uniper where I focused on expanding operations and opportunities in emerging markets.
In 2023, I joined SEFE as SVP Strategic Portfolio Management and Macro Analysis. In this capacity, I am working on long term macro analysis, portfolio & position management and portfolio development as well as many corporate initiatives to address the challenges and opportunities in today’s energy landscape.
