Tracy Lothian joined MidOcean Energy in 2024 after 26 years with ExxonMobil where she worked across the downstream, upstream, chemicals and LNG businesses and most recently was ExxonMobil’s VP Low Carbon Solutions for the Asia-Pacific region, developing a pipeline of CCS, hydrogen, ammonia and biofuels opportunities.
Prior to this Tracy had several senior roles in ExxonMobil’s LNG marketing and LNG market development units, was SVP for Rovuma LNG in Mozambique, worked in their European gas contracting and marketing business and also spent 4 years in M&A.
Tracy holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Geography from University College London and completed a leadership programme at London Business School. She has travelled the world and lived in London, Brussels, Antwerp, Houston and Singapore. Tracy is driven to push forward solutions that can positively impact the energy transition and a proponent for the use of carbon offsets and carbon markets to accelerate progress. Tracy has also devoted much time and energy to helping female talent network and succeed in the global energy industry.
